Let’s be honest. It’s been a difficult year, especially since our brand promise is to amplify the good.
This year, we’ve avoided letting ourselves get buried in how things got this way. Instead, we’ve re-focused on how to make things better the best way we know how – through a clear, positive brand strategy. For Mission Minded clients, this includes a powerful One Minute Message.
What’s a One Minute Message?
You’ve probably heard the term “elevator pitch.” It’s the message you would share if you only had an elevator ride’s duration to convince someone to love your idea. That’s what a One Minute Message gives your nonprofit: A fast, easy way to capture the attention and interest of would-be supporters.
Here are One Minute Messages from 5 of the over 50 extraordinary causes we’ve served this year.
May their missions – and messages – inspire your own good work in 2018!
We believe everyone has the right to achieve their dreams. Every day, we educate, empower, support, and partner with motivated immigrants to best meet all their unique needs—from putting food on the table, to becoming American citizens, to learning English, to graduating from college.
Because when we support immigrants, Marin becomes a place where everyone can live, work, and succeed.
So, we bring people together to ensure factors like race, income, and ZIP code don’t determine a person’s access to care and opportunity to live a healthy life. When we uncover commonsense solutions to these complex challenges, we get closer to ensuring our health care system works for everyone. Because when our neighbors are healthy, our communities prosper, and Colorado is stronger.
We believe that the arts transform all of our lives, and help us to shape our world and our communities. Every day we use art to shine light on life’s realities, and to show and share who we are and what we care about. Because art helps us to understand ourselves, one another, and it unites us as a community.
Every day, we create paths to opportunities for people of all ages. Because when the people who live here have successful lives and careers, we knit together a community poised for growth and greatness.
Every day, we open our doors to care for patients in a way that honors them and meets their health care needs. We welcome everyone with compassion and respect for their culture, language, identity, and values—no matter what.
We do this because each person is unique and deserves to be seen and valued for who they are and the life circumstances that bring them to us. None of us should ever receive anything less than the best care possible.
