Senior Brand Strategist
Rona Gomel Ashe enjoys the challenge of helping to define brands that matter to people through strategy, brand development, and marketing. She is passionate about making a difference in communities.
She focuses on nonprofits that are working to positively impact youth and communities. Rona has managed projects across different sectors and supported organizations as they develop and grow with strategic planning, marketing strategy, branding, naming, and governance projects. She is a member of the Steering Committee of Harvard Business School Community Partners, which delivers pro-bono consulting to local nonprofits, as well as a Trustee of Marin Academy and member of the Advisory Committee for Roadtrip Nation.
Prior to her nonprofit work, Rona was at HBO in New York. At HBO, Rona was responsible for developing and launching HBO on Demand, branding new HBO channels and managing consumer marketing for HBO’s original movies and brand image. Rona was part of the team that introduced, “It’s Not TV. It’s HBO.” for which the team earned an Emmy Award.
Rona earned an AB from Brown University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
