Karen Buck is a brand and communications strategist who excels at translating client goals into cohesive branding executions. Karen’s 15-plus years of storytelling experience working with schools and nonprofits has helped countless organizations better connect with their audiences. She seamlessly crosses publication, website, video, digital, and social platforms, collaborating with designers and clients to produce brand campaigns that make an impact.
She speaks and writes on branding and marketing communications strategies for organizations including the American Marketing Association Higher Education Symposium, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, EduWeb, and many others. Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, where she concentrated in the magazine program.
Karen also volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), as an ambassador for the St. Luke Foundation for Haiti, and as a board member for the Foundation for Science and Mathematics Education. On weekends, you might find her pursuing a canine agility competition title with her Weimaraner, Wilbur.
