Mission Minded is pleased to announce a brand new workshop for nonprofit leaders and communications staff: The BrandEquation: How to Sum Up Your Nonprofit’s Brand. Building on the success of our Minute Message Model training, this new workshop provides a grounding in one of the most important—and least understood—aspects of nonprofit marketing and communications.

What is a brand, and why does a nonprofit need one? The short answer is that your brand is your reputation, and you already have one, so you should make sure it’s saying what you want it to. Our new workshop is designed to demystify the concept of brand and teach nonprofit organizations how to actively shape their brand to attract new supporters, re-engage current ones and ensure that it conveys your organization’s values and personality.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the concept of brand, and how it applies to their nonprofit organization
  • Know how to create the components that go into building a successful brand: values, personality, value proposition and positioning statement.
  • Articulate their organization’s brand promise—the most salient point about an organization.

Our first public BrandEquation training will be:

Thursday, January 27, 2011
San Francisco State University Downtown Campus
Westfield Center
San Francisco, CA 94103
9am – 12noon

Check out our other workshops, too!
