Joanna Murray, CEO of Women’s Vision, expertly employs Mission Minded’s Minute Message Model in this clip from Denver’s ABC 7 News.

She begins with her Belief Message, providing high level information about what Women’s Vision does and why it’s important. The statement reiterates the foundation’s vision for change.

Joanna is asked specific questions, and while she addresses those queries, she weaves the interview back toward the organization’s key messages. Using her Problem Messages, Joanna highlights the challenges in the broader workforce and those specifically faced by women in leadership positions. She shares WHY Women’s Vision Foundation is needed.

At the tail end of the interview, Joanna shines when asked about the organization’s impact. She uses her Impact Messages. Rather than overwhelm the listener with data that likely won’t be remembered, she tells two stories — stories about individuals whose experiences demonstrate the impact Women’s Vision can have on the world.
