Sarah Hubbard has spent 15+ years in a wide-range of brand roles including communications, nonprofit marketing and creative asset production. Sarah is a storyteller at heart, and loves seeing her client’s passion for their work come to life creatively in a way that drives audiences to action.
Prior to joining the Mission Minded team, Sarah served as the Marketing Director for Denver-based nonprofit First Descents, which provides life-changing outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer. As a survivor and outdoor athlete herself, this cause continues to be near and dear to her heart.
Before accepting her job at First Descents via text message from 19,000 above Everest Basecamp, Sarah spent 10 years with Backbone Media, the leading agency in the active lifestyle industry. While there, she worked alongside the global marketing teams at Eddie Bauer, REI, Klean Kanteen, and even built a website for actor, Patrick Dempsey.
Sarah lives in Boulder, CO and spends her time skiing, hiking, fishing terribly, playing with her friends’ kids and trying to build up willpower against all baked goods.
