Our nation’s oldest nonprofit investigative reporting unit faced a unique brand challenge. The organization housed three very successful newsroom brands under one roof: CIR, California Watch, and The Bay Citizen. Mission Minded helped the organization put an end to brand confusion and consolidate three award-winning brands into one exponentially powerful and innovative brand: The Center for Investigative Reporting. Mission Minded supported the organization in creating the messages needed to demonstrate the civic value of an independent watchdog committed to holding powerful institutions accountable—and staying ahead of the technological curve.
