On May 19, Denver Art Museum will unveil its new exhibition, “Spun: Adventures in Textiles.” When helping to brand the exhibition, Mission Minded took a strategic approach, analyzing the Museum’s audiences, goals, and brand position. With the input and collaboration of Museum staff, Mission Minded helped create the name and designed the campaign that will attract visitors this summer.

In the campaign’s main image, the fabric’s bold colors point to the diversity and vibrancy of the artwork. The camera’s upward-facing angle points to the wonderment that viewers feel when observing great works of art.

The exhibition showcases a range of fabric-based work, from masterworks of 19th-century Navajo weavers to work that explores the intersection between artwork and 21st century technology. This campus-wide event will also celebrate the opening of the museum’s new, renovated textile art galleries.

Spun,” which runs until September 22, will also include a drop-in Quilt Studio and collaborative projects with artists.
