Our Hopes and Aspirations for 2017

Sarah MooreFirst and foremost, I wish that everyone reading this will feel the love of family and friends over the holidays. And that you’ll come into 2017 rested and recharged, ready to keep fighting the good fight. We’re going to need your smarts, your passion, and your determination. To a New Year. Cheers!

To find peace in the present, even as uncomfortable, challenging, or frustrating it may be. There is always something to learn and something to gain, and by being mindful and open to embracing even dark times, I hope to find the light that will push me to be a better daughter, wife, friend, employee, and citizen.

Jennie WintonWhat I really want for 2017 is to show up with enough love and peace in my heart to make everything I’m involved in lighter, easier, and happier. After the election,  I reconnected with my belief that it’s the love and energy I bring to my interactions with others that have the greatest chance of changing the world. Thich Nhat Hanh says, “We are here to awaken from the illusion of our separateness.” I’m feeling a duty to nurture a joyful heart for the good of us all.

My wish for 2017…
May we speak kind words.
May we hear kind words.
May our hearts be united by kind words.
May we know the power of words. Simple words.

Ann Ayers, Senior Brand Strategist

My wish for the new year is for happiness and good health for my family, friends and everyone at Mission Minded. Good health is something that many take for granted, and also something so few people are blessed to have. The same goes for happiness, I wish for smiles and endless positivity for everyone in my life. Cheers to a happy and healthy new year!

Zach HochstadtMay the sum of our contributions to the greater good exceed the sum of our fears. Taken as a whole, our clients feed the hungry, protect the vulnerable, create opportunity, defend our Constitution, and inspire greatness in others. Together let us continue to amplify the good.

My biggest wish is that 2017 is the year of everyday people overcoming fear and boundaries to become extraordinary. The world changes whether or not we make it so. Next year, I’ll be searching for ways to harness my own passions to influence the kind of change that makes the future a little more just and a whole lot brighter.

May progress and technology come to understand the intrinsic value of a healthy and equitable planet. May each of our inner critics be lifted to a place of confidence, strength, and love. And may our frames of references continue to change, while our health remains.

Romayne LeveeIt’s been my great privilege this year to partner with several institutions whose mission it is to empower young women. What a thrilling time to be doing this work—during the election cycle in which a woman won the U.S popular vote. My wish is that in 2017—and every year thereafter—we can all agree: a glass ceiling with 65.5 million cracks in it is officially shattered!
