Lisa Falconer has 15 years of experience developing winning communication strategies to advance social change. She has worked on a diverse range of society’s most pressing issues, including criminal justice reform, environmental protection, health policy, and LGBT equality.

Lisa’s expertise in crafting powerful brands and messaging, developing strategic plans and leading complex communication campaigns has led directly to her clients’ success. She understands how to apply rigorous research to develop language that resonates with an organization’s target audiences – and smart strategies to move them to act.

Lisa has provided senior communication guidance, branding, message development, media strategy and training to organizations such as the Ford Foundation, Greenpeace USA and the Heinz Endowments. A seasoned facilitator, Lisa has a knack for helping clients reach consensus on tough decisions.

Prior to her advocacy-focused nonprofit work, Lisa was a senior consultant at BearingPoint, where she worked in the public service sector’s change management group. In this role, Lisa developed and led large-scale strategic communication efforts at a variety of federal government agencies, including the National Institutes of Health, the Patent and Trademark Office and the National Archives.

Lisa holds a master’s degree in public administration and a B.A. in political science and public communication from American University. She lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and two daughters.
