Kirsten Mau began her career on Madison Avenue as an advertising account executive over 20 years ago. She has focused her career on managing brand identities and strategy for iconic American brands such as Crayola and Quaker Oats. Eventually, she made her way to the Bay Area where she worked for DDB Worldwide in various strategic and corporate roles, including Worldwide Management Director of one of DDB’s largest global accounts, The Clorox Company.
Kirsten’s experience in the nonprofit sector includes management of several pro-bono agency accounts, and six years working with Children’s Hospital Colorado in Denver. She enjoys applying her “big brand” experience to the important work nonprofit organizations do in their local and global communities. In addition, she has deep experience applying brand strategy to website development and social media marketing for nonprofit organizations.
Kirsten graduated cum laude from Mary Washington University in Virginia and is a graduate of the Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies in New York.
