Karl Soehnlein is writer, editor and content consultant with twenty-five years experience in the arts, media, education, and social services. Karl’s deep understanding of narrative and structure enables his clients to discover and articulate the stories they need to tell to create accessible, persuasive communication tools. He has served Berkeley Public Library Foundation, California Shakespeare Theatre, Education Trust–West, KQED-TV, and the Social Venture Network.

A fiction writer and journalist, Karl has been widely published. His writing has been honored with a Lambda Literary Award and a Henfield Prize. As a long-time resident of San Francisco, Karl can be seen biking around the city, charting urban hikes, and attending as many plays and movies as he can. His capacity to remember decades of Academy Awards trivia gives him the edge in the Oscar pool every year.
